Museum of the American Indian Exhibit

For the nest year, until Jan., 10, 2016, there will be an exhibit at the Smithsonian's Museum of the American Indian of about 400 piece of jewelry made by the Navajo Yazzie Family, primarily Raymond and Jake. They are award-winning silversmiths who do beautiful elaborate pieces of jewelry. If you're lucky enough to be in Washington, D.C., in the coming year you might want to fit this exhibit into your schedule, if you're a lover of beautiful Indian jewelry.

Re: Museum of the American Indian Exhibit

Here's a piece from the exhibit, a ring containing a beautiful Lander Blue Turquoise stone. Lander Blue is considered to be the most valuable turquoise in the world. Only about 150lbs were ever collected.

Isn't the Lander Blue ring magnificent, Kathy? Wonder what the stone is worth?
