Morganite wearability

Does anyone own beautiful morganite? I love this gemstone but I heard once that the color can fade? I noticed they have a new pair of premier morganite earrings for today. Although they would blow my jewelry budget out of the water, I can't wait to see them presented.

Speaking of exotic gems, are they patenting ostroblue topaz?
