I believe moissonite fire is just their brand name . Like diamonique is the brand name for QVC's cubic zirconia.

I received the Moissanite earrings I ordered for my Mom from JTV. I have to say, they're beautiful and look so much like real diamonds. Unfortunately, one of the backs does not fit right. I made the mistake of not reading reviews before I ordered them. Some other people complained of the same problem. I guess all I can do is exchange them and hope they get here in time for Christmas. It would be such a shame if my Mom lost one of her earrings.

I think I'm going to try a couple more pieces because I'm really happy with how pretty the earrings are. When I opened them up my sister said, you finally got Mom the 1 cts that she's been wanting. She thought they were real diamonds.

Wowser to the one lady on here...Holy moly can't imagine how you treat people in real life over serious situations..especially if you are so rude over jewelry.

I have many moissanites and LOVE THEM..you pay way more for them and they are all in 14kt gold and came from C&C but if you want the same sparkle and shine but less $$ they are perfectly fine set in silver..we are not talking life/death with less quality medications but a choice of stone.

I have a couple Moissanites that for the cost you could buy diamonds with an inclusion or two not noticeable to the eye without a loupe..

It's all about personal likes but come on ..really lets not take it that serious to rip into somebody over a stone?

IMO the faux like Moissonite and Diamonique do indeed look real. I have never had anyone ask me if my faux was fake. I inherited a 3 carat emerald cut diamond from my MIL and had a friend ask me if it was real. I would never spend my money on diamonds even if I had unlimited funds.
