I do know that today is the 90th birthday of Mickey Mouse, however, I just don't get the attraction of the diamonique jewelry.  Perhaps for a child, maybe.  I suppose it is selling though.

Well, I guess we shall see if the items become lunchtime or primetime specials.

My sister loved MM as a child back in the 50's. I doubt if she would be interested in the jewelry though. I love Diamonique, but would never wear anything Mickey or Minnie.

I grew up in So. Cal. and first went to D-Land at 7 years old. Loved the rides and attractions but honestly, never liked MM or Minnie, Pluto or Donald Duck.

I've never been a fan of anything Disney ... but apparently there are enough fans out there for these items.

Re: Mickey Jewelry

Not really my cup of tea, but I can think of many more much worse fashion trends! For example, I’d choose MM earrings any day over tassel earrings!!! Everybody has their own taste and right to express themself as they like. 😁

Someone very near and dear to my heart had Mickey Mouse, shortened to Mickey as a nickname.  Every time I see Mickey Mouse I am reminded of that dear heart.  Mickey Mouse makes me smile and I do wear Mickey items in honor of my loved one. Just another perspective.

Everyone has their own likes and dislikes.  I know of a woman that loves all Disney and she is in her 40's.  She would buy all of the jewelry!!!  She lives in Arizona and visits Disneyland every year.  It's not just for children.

Its just like different clothing designers.  Some love Logo, some don't Some love Quacker Factory, some don't.

And we have all different kinds of makeup, cosmetics, etc.  We have choices.  Just because you may not like it or I don't like it, doesn't mean that everyone doesn't like it.  Thats what is so great about having so many options out there.
