Hi JerseyBorn. I took another look at the citrine stone and it's a fat rectangle shaped stone. As for the new dark pink/red stone, I couldn't' find the pic. It's a sparkly gemstone and not a cabochon. It has the consistency as if you purchased a citrine or blue topaz stone or any other clear sparkly stone. Hope this helps.
