I don't know why people assume anything good in jewelry is from Italy.  I born in Italy and I think countries in Middle East and Asia makes the best jewelry.  They've been at for a lot longer. And I have an 18K bracelet that was made in the U.S.A.  Just about every country produces jewelry.  And good quality ones.
