Let's Discuss: Judith Ripka February 2013 visit--what are you getting/interested in?... :)

Am starting this thread a day early due to time constraints tomorrow--too much going on and lots of distractions. I know you've all been there... A few weeks ago in SoCal, we had a massive cold snap with evening temps below freezing which was not only bad for the plants but also the outdoor life...as in mice. Ugh, a few of them decided it made a lot more sense to set up shop inside our house where it was much warmer. And so began weeks of nights without sleep, setting up the zappers which sometimes worked, trying different baits and DH going for the old-fashioned traps. Did you know mice can fly? I swear to you, it is true! And they found dog dental chews, sharpened their teeth on our Chinese money tree like a pack of beavers cutting it down from 5' to 2 1/2' and tormented our Yorkies. So far the score is LP = 4 down and 1 left to go... I wouldn't wish this on anyone!{#emotions_dlg.bored}

For those who forgot about their New Year's resolutions, you have a second chance with Feb. 4 being Chinese New Year (year of the Snake, equivalent to Taurus). Here's the schedule of Judith's shows: Saturday - 11PM-Midnight, Eastern Standard Time (8-9PM Pacific Standard Time; Sunday - Midnight-1AM EST (Saturday 9-10PM, PST); Sunday - 3-4AM, EST (Sunday Midnight-1AM, PST); 6-7AM, EST (3-4AM, PST); 11AM-1PM, EST (8-10AM, PST).

Time for some retail therapy (or mostly watching as the case may be)...Smile
