January sure flew by - though maybe not for Ripkanistas fighting the cold, snowy weather. We're fighting the opposite here in SoCal...severe drought. Since October, we've maybe had two actual rainstorms (we get rain instead of snow)...Happy Chinese New Year everyone...yesterday started the Year of the Horse, good news after the difficult Year of the Snake just finished. So many things just went wrong last year, for me and nearly everyone I know. Am glad to start fresh. That's the great thing about Chinese New Year--if you got a slow start January 1, then here's your second chance! On the personal front, we have an important meeting this week with new city council members to get our claim re-heard and avoid a legal case. When the new council took over in December, they immediately fired the CEO, city attorney and Police Chief--too much corruption. So we are hopeful to have finally have justice with our case. Go, year of the Horse!!

Hi Lucky Peach. So good to see your post here!!! we have had a very cold snowy winter here in my part of Ohio. I am hoping for a much better spring. I'm interested in lots of things this visit.I've already ordered the TSV in silver, the turquoise strap watch, the new rhodolite bracelet, & the rose gold status necklace. That's more than I usually order but want these so much.

{{Pepper}}, go great to see you, too! I've kept close watch on the weather for you guys and re-lived it a bit. I have to admit I still feel a bit guilty not to be out there shoveling snow and trying to help others in the bad weather. Hope you get an early Spring!

I hear you on wanting JR's "stuff" so much! I'd been cruising the blackened status necklace J289403 (I prefer to call it figure eight link with dangling FDL because of the other status necklace, J274725)--- waiting for reviews and for it to return in stock because Judeye's review sold me. Then I read the other reviews for the clad, etc., including Waterbaby's, and that was it for me. I already have the original TSV version that has clad touches and knew the gram weight was excellent. I was hoping with JR's visit coming up that they'd go on E/P--even dreamed about it--and there they were, except for the blackened. So, I went for the rose (J289405), gold (J289386), chocolate (J289404), and blackened. I know, crazy, but I'm so excited at the different looks I can create!

How's your health? I'm doing pretty OK.

Happy New Year LuckyPeach! I have been behaving myself for several months, not purchasing since the TSV hoops in rose and yellow gold clad (love those and wear them all the time) and staying off these boards so not to be tempted. Told myself I need to appreciate everything I have and shop my jewelry box...LOL

I fell off the wagon by finally purchasing the turq Monaco (J156568) on clearance last week and now see so many things I want this visit. So far, I am adding the silver DMQ hoops (J285753) to the others and replacing my signature heart ring I lost awhile back (J5050) and last night's OTO in yellow gold (J290801) with the (J290392)

I haven't been able to decide on color for TSV- first thought I would get sterling because I own more silver pieces to mix and match, but now thinking I will get the gold because it is so chic looking and I can incorporate the OTO necklace from last night. I own the screw-on siliver and onyx pieces from many years ago, although that was a time when the silver gram weight was much higher- don't think it would match today's TSV.

I also really want that wrap watch in camel...might not just be falling off the wagon today but run over by it!

Hi LuckyPeach and fellow Ripkanistas, it is great to see you again. It has been brutally cold and snowy this winter in Minnesota. My doggies still get me outside for a couple of miles of walking a day, but it isn't the pleasurable experience it usually is. I am glad to hear that things may be resolving in your life, Lucky Peach. Those status necklaces are awesome and such a value.

I loved the rhodolite heart necklace, but it is outside the budget right now. I'm starting to cave on the silver TSV but in the back of my mind I keep wondering if it will be a OTO in a show a few months from now as it doesn't seem to be selling quickly (I think the last I saw 3,200 or so had been sold). It looks like such a versatile piece......decisions.....decisions.....

I picked up some MD's pieces so far and the JR rhodolite heart bracelet but it's on WL.

Anyone remember the smaller cuff that came with rhodolite or citrine hearts? I think this new bracelet will look wonderful with that one.

I'm waiting for a bracelet and necklace that GF posted but was poofed. Hoping they're the OTO's tonight but I doubt it.

Peachie ~ Wishing you a happy and healthy New Year....and good luck on your case! This year has not started out great......I got the flu a couple of weeks ago....now have a sore throat, crud! I injured my foot and cannot walk on it, and have to go to the chiro weekly....and DH was driving home from work on the 5....he had worked a 16 hour day....got stopped and booked for a dui...he had not been drinking...spent the night in jail....he's going to fight that ticket!

Anyway, I have a couple of clearance items that I am interested in....will get back later with the #'s.....oh and GO HAWKS!

Hello LP & Ladies!

I ordered the OTO from last night's show in SS. I like the width of the necklace. I also ordered the earrings (by check) as I couldn't stay up to watch the presentation so I taped it and am watching it now. It is pretty.

I had also ordered the While Supplies Last necklace in rose last month. It was just shown on air w/Rick & JR. Had it sent to my cousin in DE - she almost didn't give it to me!! that piece is gorgeous too.
