Lee Sands

I remember back a few years ago when Lee Sands had some nice jewelry. He had good quality coral and lots of amber. Now many of his pieces look to me like beading class projects. Is amber just not IN anymore? With the high price of gold and gems, I would think amber would be popular. I haven't seen any Lee Sands I like in a long time.
