I have been looking for  simple braided leather cord necklaces for awhile--I want genuine leather not faux and I found these from Carolyn Pollack on sale here---I bought 3 --- white, brown and blak. Wow--are they really nice!! they are a solid 1/4 " in diameter with the sterling findings and a 2" extender--I got the 17". They lay really nicely on the neck too. I have many pendants that have enhansers on them but they look good without pendants---the # is J406297. I see the sale price is $2 more than when I bought them and colors and sizes are limited now.

I have several American West braided necklaces but they have toggle clasps which I like better because I love to hang enhancers from the toggle.  A few months ago I got a leather necklace with a silver loop for hanging pendants.  The leather was so thin, I doubted it would last long.  It was a piece of junk which I returned.

Carolyn's jewelry is a far cry from what it used to be.  I have a ton of the old stuff and can compare.  I no longer will buy it.

$44 is a good price.  I saw some on amazon (18 inch) in lots of different colors but they are $79.  I don't own a leather cord, I probably wouldn't wear one as I mostly wear my silver or gold chains.  Enjoy.

I have only one complaint about Carolyn.  Quit changing the name of your company.  Too hard to find her stuff on Ebay.

The necklaces are beautiful @wagirl!  Looks like lots of waitlist now... Enjoy yours!

But if you may alllow me a little rant, agree with @Kachina, overall, I have noticed the deterioration of the quality of QVC products.  The jewelry is mostly Jai, and all of it is prohibively overpriced.  Better prices are available everywhere, so QVC focuses on exclusive designs.

In fashions, the materials are mostly poly and thin rayon, where cotton and modal (a better quality of rayon) used to be more available.  A little poly is good, but there is just too much of it.

The shoes are mostly stretch fabric.  High quality leather wide Fly London shoes no longer available.  High quality leather shoes in wide from Vionic no longer available.

@NYCLatinaMe ---I don't usually buy much anymore -----and never from this brand--but I can return them if they don't  work out---I just got tired of the stupid  delivery time even before the pandemic and supply issues---so I totally understand your rant! Have sent back more than I keep and now just don't order.

@wagirl I was disappointed that CP changed/added another variation of attaching enhancers. I have leather cords and beads from the line that I've purchased over the years and quite honestly am not interested in having to buy another variation for the new enhancers so I didn't buy anything and I would have loved to buy one of the specialty designer enhancers.

I have a variety of items that I enjoy wearing from AW but I don't buy much new unless it's unique.

@GinaV24 --these are the first items I have bought from this line. I  have many enhansers/pendants already,  whose bails will fit this diameter leather cord, so am very happy with them for that reason. And the price was great  for genuine leather and sterling findings---
