Thanks.

I've heard a few hosts from other networks talking about going out to the show.  Colleen from HSN said she will be heading out there as well.

from what i hear from the hosts on Evine parts of it are open to people that come to Vegas for the show. I guess it's all over Vegas and the big main one at the hotel is closed but the rest are open i would check it out. Or even email or write to  someone at Evine. You might try Chuck Clemency or even Melissa Miner they do answer and they are on facebook.

I googled this and the main show is at Mandalay Bay (1 million square ft of exhibit space) and five or six other hotels on strip.  They reiterated that it is only open to professional jewellers.  I know of several people not in the industry who have gone to Electronics Expo also in Vegas so it may be that where there is a will there is a way.  If you are really friendly with your local Mom and Pop jeweler maybe they can help?

I think Evine is the only channel that actually has a live broadcast.  They always look like they are having so much fun.

You generally have to have a resale license to get in. Businesses can get badges for their employees and if you have a friend in the trade they can sometimes give you one of their company's allotted badges. Since there is a fee associated with the badge purchases, there aren't a lot of extra ones floating around. Because of the nature of the show security is REALLY tight. Getting in there is not easy.

I'd love to go too, but wouldn't feel comfortable asking my jeweler to give me a badge.
