I used to enjoy reading posts on the forums, but recently I have decided that this is no longer enjoyable.  There are so many nasty, evil comments that women say to one another just to make someone feel bad.  If you have nothing nice to say, don't post.

@a pink lemon

Which post number above was nasty or evil?

It seems the nastiest were the OP's responses.

Well you can't sell it here if that's what you're suggesting.  It's against board standards.

I can't figure out how you even begin to think that is what she was suggesting.  She was asking for some advice -- that is all!  She wanted ideas.

Re: Ladies! I have QVC jewlery to sell!

I am on several Facebook sale sites. I have tried to sell many Carolyn Pollack pieces there, with no luck. It is sky high on ebay, so I thought I would give it a shot. Others are right, you won't get anywhere near what the prices on ebay are. I had bought several things there (not cheap), I wish I had never wasted my money on any of it.

It is hard selling it  and you don't get anywhere near what you paid for it unfortunately. I think Ebay or a consignment store are your best bets...

I also thought op wanted to sell it here. That is what the title of this thread sounded like. Oh well, guess I misinterpreted it.

Re: Ladies! I have QVC jewlery to sell!

there is a QVC buy and sell on FB. Search QVC buy and sell and you will see more than one.  You have to ask to join and the response is quick.  I sold a LC skort very quickly but that is the only experience I have.  It is worth a try as QVC shoppers are looking for QVC items which may no longer be available.

FYI...there is a Dooney page as well.  I use EBAY most of the time and I list my items for what I want and offer the "best offer" choice and then you can decide if you want to accept the offer.   Sometimes the offers are insulting but I just don't respond to them at all.  Most of the time folks come back with a reasonable offer.

Re: Ladies! I have QVC jewlery to sell!

I've sold quite a bit of my Barbara Bixkby jewelry on eBay.  Some of it I got more than I paid for it.  I tried selling it on the Delphi Bixby forum with no luck.  I think it was because my pieces were so old that people were not familiar with it.  There wasn't a way to post pictures if I'm recalling correctly.

If you have exhausted all the options presented here, and you are still wanting to get rid of it, you can also try at a pawn shop that deals in gold & silver.

You wouldn't be pawning it, just sell it outright for the right price.   But like others have mentioned, you won't get full retail.

Hello ladies! I have some Ripka and Bixby & other pieces I would like to sell! What is the best way I may do this? I just don't wear so much of it anymore. All suggestions welcome!

Thanks,

Agador

Re: Ladies! I have QVC jewlery to sell!

Several years ago folks did sell on here.  I realize it's no longer allowed and I understand why this is so,  but it sure was fun back then.  I picked up an IG cross, an Eterna bangle and a Beverly Hills gold ring.   Smiley Very Happy

Re: Ladies! I have QVC jewlery to sell!

I have traded in and sold some of my Q Jewerly and it was worth nothing! However, a few weeks ago I was searching for a Ripka piece, and I was shocked at the prices. Do your homework and see what others are asking for pieces similar to yours. I'm not that familiar with Bixby and her older pieces.
You might do well with the Ripka pieces if you have a little back ground knowledge of what is for sale and for how much.
