Item # J 319822....asscher cut 7.20 ct. tw, but not Diamonique or silver...set in mystery metal that’s not stated. Why would they do such a gorgeous ring and for $20 more than the clearance price of $49.98 make it more special? 

I’m sure the metal will turn green on many and the stone will not remain clear or have the hardness of Diamonique.

Silvertone plated brass seems like a nightmare.

@Shanus  this is my take on this. rings this type, silverplate over brass, to me, just means its a now and then type ring. not something you would be wearing everyday. (as it would start to show wear).  i would consider it a fun ring, to jazz up a outfit or something. still could have a place

Asscher cut stones are my favorite! That Liz ring looks like a really fun one to own.

It's a throw away ring that a woman might buy to wear once to some special occasion.  It's not a ring anyone would wear weekly or even monthly.  The flash plating start to wear off after it's worn a few times.
