Kind of Jewelry You Never Wear

Is there a kind of jewelry you never wear? Why don’t you wear it?

I never wear earrings. My left ear lobe looks a bit different than normal. 😳 I’ve always been a bit self-conscious about it. Earrings would draw attention to it. Not worth it to me to have plastic surgery. I did try clip ons once, but I hated the way they felt. No earrings for me.

ETA: After reading all your responses it made me think of a few more things I don’t wear.

Most of my jewelry is classic & understated. I don’t wear large bold colorful statement necklaces. I don’t like how heavy they are either. I like bracelets but not bangles which are difficult when you’re using your hands to do things.

haven't worn any jewelry since i retired in 2002....gave it all to my daughter....couldn't even wear my engagement and wedding band rings because of arthritis.....

Statement necklaces. I don't like the look of big jewlery or a lot of jewelry.

Hoop or dangly earrings.

Heavy necklaces.

Bracelets. Although I have several and like the look on other people, I find them annoying and sometimes difficult to get on/off.

Statement necklaces or any heavy necklaces.

I used to wear a couple of bracelets 24/7 but have even given those up in recent months.

Long ago I gave on watches because of the mouse at work. Only rarely miss one. Still have two, but not sure if the batteries are good.

Other than my wedding/engagement rings (which are soldered together), I do not wear rings. I also don't wear turquois jewelery of any kind. It just doesn't look right on me.
