Kathy Levine Diamonique Station necklace

This is so unfair! I tried to buy this item when it first aired, but was put on waitlist. NOW, due to manufacturing issues, it won’t be back till Sept! I will lose out on the special price! Shouldn’t waitlist items be honored when there’s a manufacturer’s problem?! So sad about this!

Personally, I don't give business to companies with bad customer service and/or policies

@GreenJerzGirl    Was your waitlist order cancelled?  If so, they're probably not sure the item will be restocked.  Manufacturing problems are common these days, fair or not, they're reality.

@GreenJerzGirl  Did you receive an email that your waitlist order would be extended until September or was it cancelled altogether?  Perhaps you could call Customer Service directly about honoring the original waitlist price if your order was cancelled on their end.

I agree with Kachina.

Stores want to sell, but what can they do if the items are not available?

All around the world businesses are still facing challenges.

DH ordered a new lawnmower more than a month ago.  It was supposed to arrive late July.  Nothing has been updated--who knows when it will arrive.  Hopefully the grass will not be sky high when we finally receive it!

You should probably contact the QVC social team or customer service to see if they can approve the same price for you when your item is finally back in stock.

I did all of the above suggestions: no luck! I don’t understand when they offer an item then waitlist you; only to find the item has manufacturing issues-they STILL won’t extend you the courtesy of extending the sale price when item comes in. Kinda like a “bait and switch” deal.
I guess I won’t miss it after all!

@GreenJerzGirl

That is NOT what bait and switch is.

Sadly, this is the world we live in now.  It does happen that items do not become available, ship when promised, etc.

Who said they won't give you the sale price when it does become available?

Have you contacted the moderators or are you trying to deal with lesser trained CS reps?

Re: Kathy Levine Diamonique Station necklace

Yes, I contacted QVC reps about this. They told me there was no way to get the sale price regardless of circumstances. When an item goes on sale and they put you on waitlist; months pass due to manufacturer issues- they SHOULD offer sale price when item comes in. Why advertise it then say you’ll have to wait?! Maybe it will be a sale price, but I doubt it. No worries….I can live without it after all this nonsense.

If there are shipping and or manufacturing issues why over sell.  Isn't there an inventory count?  When they sell out they should just say sold out and not bother with having people on a waitlist that may or may not happen.
