@SharkE.  Seems like I've heard of it, probably from Jay King.  Can't remember what it looks like.

I looked it up...Australian jasper.  Looks like it can be about any color.  I think I  may have a pendant and earrings.

I have a strand of Mookaite beads I bought from ShopLC. The stone is jasper from the Mooka Creek region in Australia. To me it has autumnal colors:

Mooka means "running waters" in Aborigine.

saw a real pretty bracelet that was pink and yellow. Don't think it's too awful pricey not like sleeping beauty, etc.

I want a big ol' rhodrocrosite pendant too. One I saw online, sold !

well...........c*ap !!!!! put that with a open neck white blouse would be so pretty.

@SharkE.  There's a store in Old Town thst has rather unusual stones in jewelry.  It's approximately in the middle of the block across the street from the front of the church.  They specialize in charms.

You can find a lot of mookaite jewelry on ebay and etsy. Bought a mookaite bead stretch bracelet for about $12 on ebay and it's one of my favorites. There's such a nice range of earthy colors in mookaite.

@Kachina624 : Since you are turquoise fan, ShopLC had a show featuring Sleeping Beauty turquoise on Saturday. Did you watch it?
