I can hardly believe how awful looking JTV diamond jewelry has become. In the past, I purchased some really nice diamond pieces. The diamonds were good quality. Now, the stuff they are showing on tv, you can see that they are poor quality diamonds -junk- no sparkle. Even on tv, they look like chunks of rock salt.

@Sapphiregal, LOL! I just happened to look at that channel for a little while a couple of nights ago and I thought to myself, I need to get my eyes checked.

@Sapphiregal --you can get junky jewelry from anyplace that sells it--I have had excellent luck with almost everything I've bought from JTV and the few I didn't think were good--I sent back. I just bought a truly lovely rose gold pendant with a grape garnet and gorgeous champagne diamonds surrounding it--- the diamonds are exquisite, so sparkly with a very nice color-- they are small however, but pack a punch--- I spent a few hundred dollars for it --more than I usually spend but it is a gift. To get really good diamonds--spending alot of money is the way to go----not just hundreds of $$ but more like thousands of $$. and probably not off TV and that is not in my future at all. Am very happy with this purchase and the many others I have now.

Re: Junky JTV Jewelry

[ Edited ]

In 2014 I made 2 purchases from JTV.  I bought a Cor-De-Rosa Morganite ring & pendant both set in rose gold.  This was before morganite exploded in popularity.  The color on both pieces are beautiful and the pieces get noticed when I wear them.  I haven't bought anything before or since from JTV but these pieces are definitely not junky.

I just placed my first JTV order minutes ago.  I ordered these.. have so many necklaces that I have trouble opening the clasps.... so I never wear them.  These magnetic clasps are wonderful.   I also used a $20 off coupon on purchase. They had a simular item on HSN the other day... but it was two of them not three.

You've got a point.  But seriously other that the Bella, it's pretty clunky.  It might have been better in the past.  I don't know only because I ignored the network until recently when I tried some pieces.  I only kept one.  A dancing Bella that really danced (a ring) The rest of the stuff, I returned and no longer even look at it anymore.  I especially hated the flimsy gold and necklaces that were so tiny, it was hard to clasp.  The only good thing they do, is cover the silver with plating most of the time.
