If indeed the woman is 80 then that explains a lot. I noticed they don't do many close up shots of Tova B these days either, IMO she is really showing her age. I have to wonder what drives these women to put themselves out there at 80 and beyond. To me it reminds me of someone who isn't satisfied unless they are traveling somewhere. It seems they just are not happy where they are and always looking for something or maybe someone.

@blackhole99  On the contrary. I hope in 10 years, I’m still active, have interests that keep my mind alert, am traveling and enjoying life. To give up at any age, for me, is not an option.

@Shanus  now, I didn't mention anything about giving up because a person is 80, certainly everyone has the right to live their lives as they want until they drop dead.

@Hodgemom Woman Frustrated why is discussing her possible age 'thinking the worst' ?? I think she looks great for 70 or 80- or  anything inbetween!

I think Judith Ripka looks lovely.  She probably went blond, it is too hard to cover gray after awhile.  I also like her weight loss.  She has done it gradually so her face kept up with her body. So she is not haggard looking.  Judith has to be somewhere between 75 and 80 years old.  She looks great.

@blackhole99-  Joan Rivers was over 80 and I think she looked beautiful. Even with all the surgeries she had (she told the world about them; no secret there), I think she looked more attractive the older she got. Maybe I feel this way because I loved her and admired her, but I can't say the same about Judith. She may be a very lovely lady in her real life, but to me she comes off aloof on television.

Joan said that she couldn't have lived if she couldn't work. She loved traveling and everything that went with having money to spend, but her work was her life. In her movie, "Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work," she showed her calendar, which was full of engagements. She said an empty calendar was worse than death to her.

Sorry to change the subject, but I miss her so much. Rest in peace Joan.

@sunala  I miss JR too and yes, some people have a need to work with one foot in the grave, I can't relate to that. I wish Joan could have been happy with the face she inherited, but the entertainment industry is brutal.

Funny, when a man is active in his older years he is celebrated!

I just saw a clip from an item of her jewelry, OMG, she has had a LOT of work done.  Sometimes there is a fine line....

@Equuleusagree, saw her on HSN last night, she could barely move her face? too much cheek filler and more. Sad people have so much $$ and so many just have to over do it with surgery fillers and all...less is more as we age IMHO and they are are basically attractive people who do this to themselves.

She lost much weight too and it seems aging on so many women and men When I lose weight as I have the past 5 months I look older even with very good skin Smiley Sad

I TRY to gain weight. But it will not go 'up top' where I need it I'm SO thin up top now.. only my arse and thighs gain the weight dag nab it.. then I feel sick from over-eating, but do eat well and take care of myself as best I can.

It's an aging thing with me and some of us ladies who lose weight and can't help it (not deliberately)  Also low estrogen..it takes a toll..it stinks. It affects so much. UGH

I think Judith is pushing 70, I think it's hard to lose a substantial amount of weight when you are that age and not look haggard. Of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but to my eye she looks sick, the weight loss has aged her IMO.

@blackhole99I agree. I look sick too when lost face weight over the past 4 years and I'm almost 62 omgosh it's hard for me to gain. Hate it.

JR had work (duh) overkill.. be it fillers or whatever she just sits there nearly immobilized ..like last night. Maybe she is sick who knows?she was barely talking in the beginning...thought maybe she had a stroke and was recovering. I do not see her much just comparing from months ago.
