I was aimlessly sitting in front of JTV doing my grocery list and  the host mentioned that Judith and her daughter-in-law would be on the premiere show, live, on October 18. Then they played a little promo with Judith, as well as showing some of the pieces.

The only Ripka jewelry I ever bought on QVC was solid gold, real gemstones, and mined diamonds.  All the pieces were very detailed, quite well made, attractive, and not overpriced. 

I perused the Ripka JTV collection recently, and everything was plated silver, fake stones, and "Bella Luce."  The quality is much less than what QVC carried, and the prices are not cheap. 

JR also has her own website--the gold pieces there are outrageously high.

I will be passing.

I bought so much JR jewelry many years ago when she was at the height of her popularity here.  I have enough to last a lifetime.  I also find that I just don't wear her items very often anymore.

 @haddon9 Same for me.   I still wear a lot of my Ripka jewelry though.  It has held up very well.  I keep most of mine in the Colleen Lopez Prestige boxes.

FYI, the promo did show some gemstone pieces that are not on the website right now. 

She's not for everyone but I know many still like her aesthetic and would want to know about the shows. I still wear the couture and Q pieces I own.

@newjerseygirl  I have mine in my Lori Greiner anti-tarnish cabinet that I also bought here years ago. 

I should probably take a look at some of my things again and bring them out to play with.  They will seem like new after not seeing the light of day for a long time.

Judith is no longer the designer.  Nice touch to have her return as a presenter...I was a fan of her original designs and have a lot to prove it😉 Fun days when the JR fans would gather when she was designing/presenting.  For those of you who like the new jewelry...enjoy!

@Sammycat1 hmmm that's interesting I will have to tune in if I can. I stopped buying her line on Q when EVERYTHING had diamonique added to it and the prices went up so much that IMO they weren't a good value.

That said. I have a couple of bracelets that I bought from her line that I really like and enjoy wearing.  One is a silver bracelt with citrine and chrome diopside stones. That's what I've always referred to as my sunflower bracelet. The other one is silver with a large blue topaz.

I have so much Judith Ripka Jewelry and Watches, I can open a store..  I have some great pieces including sets. I still have the first piece she presented on QVC, the Silver Country Heart bracelet and her diamonique wedd. band ring from so many years ago and they still look so good.. I also have her original boxes...  I will be watching her on JTV...

@Sammycat1 - I find it wonderful that Judith will be presenting the pieces of her line.

I adore Judith's aethetic, and also have more than I need of her jewelry-- but who could resist it when she was so prolifically producing such lovely items?

I still enjoy wearing everything, and I do find that I feel so much more put together when I simply add one or two of her pieces to complement whatever I am wearing on any given day. 

I have gotten so much use out of her Textured and Polished heavy link necklace, and I have attached many different enhancers to it. That and her Diamonique Rolo chains which look great with just about every enhancer as well. Judith created so many beautiful things. She truly is one-of-a-kind when it comes to jewelry designs for women. I found her designs elevated and special, distinct from those of any other jewelry designer's.
