Judith Ripka now called Judith. The jewelry that has the design elements that Judith Ripka's line had are now coming in under a line known as JUDITH.

I wonder why she ditched the Ripka.  Well, at any rate, JUDITH is better for the brand than JUDY.

This change happened a little while back.  First, Ms. Ripka sold her company to XCEL Brands in 2014 for approximately $20 million.

Then Judith retired a few years ago (2019) and decided to no longer be on the air with QVC. She had a great live good-bye show with Rick that featured many lovely items.

Judith is also probably not hands-on with jewelry designs any more, which is why QVC changed the name of the line. Other family members are stepping in to do the QVC presentations. 

I like the intricacy and design of her older pieces, especially those in gold.  

Judith Ripka had a great and successful career as a jewelry designer, and hopefully her legacy will continue.  I wish her well in retirement!

Judith Ripka left QVC about 3 years ago.  The new JUDITH line is just inspired by her designs.  Her family represents it on-air.    

JUDITH was introduced on QVC this past January.

This 'new' line is by Judith's daughter and this is her daughter doing these presentations usually with host Rick D. I'm not sure of her name, don't know if it's Judith, named after her Mom. The designs are all her's with maybe input from other family members.
