that's not the point. Why would anyone pay that kind of money for fake jewelry? if it was a fabulous fake, I could see it, but this seems really garish and it seems obvious that very few people could/would be able to pay for the real thing.

But that's just me ;-)

I don't understand the problem.  This is Judith Ripka, everything is over priced.  Nothing is worth the price they ask.  If this jewelry was plain QVC stuff with the same gold plate and Diamonique it would be less money.

ITA, while her designs can be lovely, most of the time it's not real gemstones.  And you can buy pretty, quality gemstone jewelry for $100.    I think her line is totally overpriced.

Have you ever visited one of her stores?  OMG!!  I almost fell over at the prices.

There is a price for quality. While there are cheaper gemstones, Judith Ripka is a jewerly designer and uses quality gems in her pieces. For those who prefer to pay less, then do so.

As with everything in life. Low end & high end. Your choice.

@GoneButNotForgotten

I SO agree, when you can buy pretty jewlery from JTV that's real precious metals and genuine stones for the same price - why settle??

Just because you can't afford Judith Ripka, not necessary to tear down the brand. As others have said, there is a choice in life. Some choose Judith's jewerly.
