I 've been finding that the Joan Rivers jewelry isn't as durable as I once thought . The earrings broke after one wear and the beads on the necklace also fell off after one wear. What is up with this?

I stopped buying her jewelry years ago. I bought some of her earrings that are changeable and they kept popping open and losing the 'stones'. I can fix almost anything but her stuff wasn't fixable. It wasn't worth the money although it was pretty.

I think her new AD bees for the four seasons are cute but just not for me.

I bought that evil eye bracelet of hers and I thought the quality was very good, but it is pricey for costume and QVC.

I really like her jewelry and her scarves. I have about 20 of her bees and also beads, bracelets, earrings and watches. I've had no issues with any of them. Also, I like her vibe with jewelry. For example she does a lot with the colors coral, turquoise and ivory and for summer she'll do white, lime and camel colors. She likes to set her jewelry in mostly goldtone which is my preference too. I like the fact that her line is also timeless and wearable. Yeah, she does some trendy stuff, but really I cherry pick her collection for things that are more in the "forever" category. I can only speak from my experience with her line; don't know about anyone else.

I have tons of her jewelry, some of it dating back to where she started on QVC, maybe 15-20 years ago. I still wear it and love it. I've had trouble with 2 pieces, but most of it is great. The first thing I purchased was a gold tone omega with stones you can change and I've worn it over and over. I once went into a fine jewelry store and the owner complimented me on the necklace.
