I think these were actually for a future show- the 'bay' sellers wrote back saying they bought them from the manufacturer!

Is this a set of 3? I thought this line was exclusive to Q. How can someone buy direct from manufacturer-isn't Q the manufacturer???

Yes, it's a set of 3. 'E' sellers buy lots and pallets of many items from manufacturers- overstocks, returns, didn't make it to air for whatever reason, etc. I initially thought they were overstocks, but I can't find comments. blogs, etc about them anywhere on the web. That's when I figured they were probably for a future show instead.

Q isn't a manufacturer of anything!

I pulled out a few "magic tricks" and couldn't locate anything about this set except for E listings. I'm sure if they had been available, I'd have them. I've got a real thing about oval hoops and this set looks great.

The color is perfect- and size is jsut right for an oval hoop too! Love hammered metals.

I jsut got a 75" strand of faux glass pearls of Joans- in a gorgeous taupe shade. The E seller is from Rhode Island- they were offering several shades in various mm sizes. The clasp has her signature and it's in Joan packaging. I never saw the pearls presented before!

I know there are many manufacturers of fashion jewelry in Rhode Island - I think it's another case of companies that manufacture for Joan selling lots, overstocks, etc to independent sellers.

I have this set and love them! My DD loves them too and often borrows... I wear the yellow most, then the white (rose have never been worn). I bought them from a E seller. I thought for sure I had originally seen them on the Q... I may have thought wrong though.

Thanks TheDebster! So the plating holds up well? And how is the weight of the hoop on your ear? Those were the 2 areas I hoped to read about in product reviews.

I have this set too. I think they look real, as do many of her jewelry pieces.

I especially love the rose gold earrings from the set, and wear them often. They're very light and so comfortable.

I love all my Joan Rivers jewelry.
