Joan Rivers Lisa's Italian Inspired Drop Earrings

For those of you that have these earrings are they as nice as they look? I really like this style but I am not sure if they will hold up. How is the quality? Are they heavy?

There are many 5 star reviews but for some reason I always hesitate and do not place my order. Some reviews state they are heavy, the color changed or they were received badly tarnished. I have MOP earrings that have the same shape and I wear them all the time (from the Q). It would be nice to have a similar yellow gold pair.
