Back in the day you used to set your diamonique jewelry in 14k gold, alot!

I have a few rings and earrings set in 14k and I love them!

Went to look for a ring on your site and there's barely anything at all, if any.

What ever happen to that procces?

@Walikins   If Diamonique was set in gold, it would be more expensive than most people are willing to pay for a fake diamond.  They don't even set most if their Affinity Diamonds in gold

I have a 14k Diamonique tennis bracelet from the good old days but haven't worn a piece of gold for almost 25 years.

The price of gold is too expensive now for the cheaper diamonique. I searched Eterna gold and even cheaper pieces are expensive and thinner.
I'm glad I bought 14 kt years ago when it was affordable.

A nice sized pair of hoops was under $100. Bracelets also.

I, too, have diamonique set in 14K and one of my diamonique stones has fallen out of a14K ring and I don't know how to get one replaced.  I had a real diamond fall out of a 14K ring recently (one I had for 20+ years) and had the diamond.  I went to the jeweler and asked them to reset it.  He said he could not that I would have to buy another ring.  It cost me $500.  I had it checked by another jeweler and it was not even 14K that they placed in it for $500.

Go to local gemfair, they usually have couple jewelers there who can set stones for reasonable price.

@Kachina624 I do too, wonder if we have the same one! Wish mine was 7-1/4 instead of 8". It has too much slack. But it's beautiful, and from the days when they used enough gold.

@Walikins @The price of gold is through the roof right now. To set cz in gold, especially at the current price of gold per gram, just wouldn't fly.

Gold got too expensive.  The few gold pieces they have are probably very light in gold weight or old stock.  I have a couple of 14k gold Dmq pieces from way back in the day.
