Very elegant designs, the middle with halo looks just like ma DD engagement ring.

Yes, Moissanite to me has a greenish tone. But maybe now they make them better. I will not pay this kind of price for a created stone. Signity and Brilliante are good enough for me.luckily I bough many pieces years ago.i mix and match with my real diamonds and nobody ever knows.

Although lovely, to the trained eye, moissanites look no more like a diamond than a sapphire looks like an iolite.

Not being a diamond gal, the arrival of lab grown diamonds is only interesting from a business point of view. Will the end product  be a truly realistic "diamond?"  Will the public accept them as an alternative to natural diamonds?  Can lab grown successfully trade on the (largely manufactured) "diamond mystique?"  They certainly aren't much less expensive and there are apparently limits to how large the stones can grow so let's see how well they fare in the marketplace.

Diamonds sre pretty enough, I guess, but I'm more interested in colored gemstones. I also object to the manipulated high prices and the attempt to manipulate the consumer by deBeers. That didn't work on me.

Never wanted or cared for Diamonds. Debeer Family owns market. Hence, Reason price points. Propaganda! At its best. No Thanks.

@Sweet_Serenity  That's why I prefer Moissanite; no Debeer's family cartel and no slave labor in mines.   I had a very nice diamond ring left to me by an aunt.  Gave it to my sister.

I don't think Moissanite is a diamond simulant.  It's just what it is.  It looks nothing like a diamond.  So comparing Moissanite to diamonds is a non starter for me.  It has a much much higher refractive index and the play of light (dispersion) is different than that of a diamond.

If I can get CZ's I'm ok.  Moisssanite costs too much.

There are some lab grown diamonds better than cz's.  CZ's don't really mimic diamonds well.

A company called "Brilliant Earth" manufacturers diamonds (grown in the lab) and are supposed to be indistinguishable from that of a mined diamond.
