Jenagal, I Need Your Help Please. Ripka Turquoiise Doublet Earrings

I am pulling out my hair over these earrings. First they sent me the clip on in error and they were tight, tight, tight so I exchanged them for the pierced. Well they do not fit on my earlobe. After I posted my review (under anony for some reason) I saw your review. I just got a chance to go to my jeweler along with a copy of your review. He looked at me like I had multiple heads and said that all he could do was take the whole back off and replace with a clutch back.

Could you explain what your jeweler did in detail....it would be much appreciated since I love these darn earrings.
