Should I trust Jane's Jewelry Favorites or Colleen Lopez's taste in jewelry. Are they equal or is one better than another?

I don't care who is selling the jewelry, I think the Q sells better quality jewelry. Any jewelry I took a chance on from HSN I returned.

Neither of them. They're both there to convince you to part with your money and buy whatever they're selling. Use your own judgment. In the day, I too would've probably given Q's jewelry more of a nod, but in more recent years, I think all the home shopping outfits sell some winners and they sell some losers and QVC's jewelry assortment isn't what it used to be. None of theirs is.

They are both consummate salespeople. Trusting either of them is not the issue.

Look at the product: read reviews, read re materials, see how and where item is manufactured.

Regarding taste use your own judgement. Quality? I don't think either has great quality any more since they are reducing the amounts of gold and silver to make things "affordable". Personally, I like Colleen but she gushes over Heidi Daus which I think is the ugliest stuff on the planet. But they are both just sales people.

I agree with that statement and that other gal at Q who makes that grasshopper, gator, stuff. I wouldn't wear to a dogfight. Hideous.

I think at this point, if I like it can afford it want it I buy it. Most of my jewelry has lasted from both the Q and HSN. I buy a lot less than I use to .

oh oh oh........Collen does big blingy gawdy stuff. Jane delicate little things that may be considered finer. its just a preference thing.

Huh? The both sell for shopping channels. Buy what you like not what two women you don't know claim that they like. You know they are sales people?

You should trust your own taste in jewelry. HSN and QVC offer very different selections in jewelry. It's like asking "which is better: Mine Finds by Jay King or Judith Ripka"? It's like comparing apples and oranges.
