I see that all their jewelry is on sale. Do you think they are no longer going to be on QVC once they sell what they have? I love Jill Bauer doing the show. She use to have her own show just selling all silver jewelry years ago on the QVC. She was awesome at it and I really like how she shows the jewelry and explains it. I will miss Scott however, Jill Bauer is the perfect fit for this brand.

It's time for something new and fresh.  Qvc's entire jewelry department needs an over-haul.

That is interesting. It wouldn't surprise me if Qvc decided to move on from that brand.    I think there are fans who enjoy watching those shows but I wonder how many actually buy pieces. On the other hand, they just hired Jill to be the product rep and she would not have signed on for just a few weeks.

I don't think that the Jai line is going away any time soon. They may offer less items at each new visit due to the slowdown in jewelry purchasing by their customers, but Jai is still producing high quality, staple jewelry items that are selling out when they are offered at sale prices, like their Byzantine necklaces.

I would love to see Jai do a flower series, with different types of dimensional flower enhancers-- like a daffodil enhancer, and a lotus enhancer, etc.

I think that a series of creatures of the sea would do extremely well, too, with an octopus, or a squid, or a jellyfish, or a school of fish. I would so love to own a cute baby harp seal enhancer. So many amazing sea creatures are not commonly depicted in silver jewelry, and I think such a series of Jai pieces would be quite popular.

I am sure many Jai/John Hardy fans have plenty of other ideas of what types of jewelry items they would love to purchase from this line.

Maybe they are clearing out the old and bringing in the new styles.

Why is it that when a product line on QVC has a sale on their items, the rumor is started that they must be leaving QVC?

It's just a sale, people! Get a grip!

@ILOVEDOGS

Candace Bure needed to go, her items weren't selling, she made everything so short, pants & tops.

If you want a real bargain on her stuff, check out the 'as is' merchandise, showing how many of her items were returned.

@Jersey Born   I agree with you 100%.  I wear and mix both John Hardy and Jai pieces and the quality and weight are excellent.  I would also love to see a lotus enhancer that mixes silver and gold.  What I am really hoping to see in Jai is an interpretation of the newer John Hardy pearl designs using gorgeous Tahitian pearls.

Well, personally, when she first came I loved the line. "Shorter tops" etc, proportioned to a more petite woman, with a youthful, casual, classic with some style vibe, appealed to me. I thought it hit a target in the market that Q didn't have. I thought it'd open up a new area to those of us looking for something fresh on Q.

Then...they did what they always do....they Q'afied the line, making it look like every other line here. I guess they realized they just didn't have enough of the market here they were going after, and couldn't cultivate it. Yes, many complained the "tops were too short" ...they were perfect for me, but not enough people apparently. Or who knows what happened, could be many reasons...but that was my take.

I stopped liking it after the first or second year...they ruined the line. I have 3 pieces from the early years, a denim skirt, adorable, wear it all the time, a dress, and a top, loved them all. Oh well, KG, D&C, SG etc continue to be Q's look.

As for Jai...Jill says "more new is coming." Like old Michael Dawkins, RLM etc...they're Q'ifying Jai line too, and kind of overdoing things and of course jewelry pricing is really UP now too. Eventually, they all run their course here, but Jill did say more new for this year is coming.
