I collected 3 Barbara Bixby (remember her beautiful jewelry?) pieces...very ornate, but definitely I get stopped when I wear them.

Another of my favs! I only have a few precious pieces of hers that I do wear fairly regularly...two different rings...the band of flowers in blue topaz, I wear a lot during spring summer, especially. And a cushion cut garnet ring, one of my staples, gifted to me by bf on a bday, I love still.

I have an enhancer heart my mom bought, I rarely have worn...very pretty, just don't find it fitting my look often...always try, always take it off. It's smokey topaz, so maybe that's it, the brown color not often my look, but it's so pretty I hold onto it.

So many items of BB I'd ogle but seldom would buy. I also have a pearl necklace with her toggle clasp, I wear with the toggle set offside...I've worn that several times this past year...and pearl earrings of BB's I wear alone or with that necklace.

Her style, artistry, is truly one of a kind. Worth the higher price tags, because of that, just weren't always in my budget. Miss seeing her on air.

I really miss the wonderful jewelry that used to be on Q. I looked forward to the shows. I guess they just didn't bring in enough money to stay.

I'm so tired of the few jewelry shows left....no more JAI please.

I'm sad she never offers plating on her silver.

So no more rhodium plating on JTV?  I've never watched them.

There's plating over silver on Judith's pieces on JTV ....it's in the descriptions.

Jtv frequently has her shows and a lot of her pieces on line  Looks just like it did years ago.  Of course prices are up on everything.

@amyb - I just wore a combination of two Judith Ripka items to my eye appointment, and I received multiple compliments on my simulated turquoise, criss-crossed, caged, heart enhancer (from JTV) paired with a doubled, silver, three-strand 36" necklace from many years ago (from QVC).  What a great look. I find that Judith's designs are my favorite pieces of designer jewelry, hands down. Her silver chains are special as are her enhancers.

I do wish that the newer JTV enhancers from Judith's line were made with the prior, much larger bales that could acccomodate Judith's thicker gauged necklace chains, though.

@Jersey Born   Does Judith or JTV have a contact page or something on FB where you can make that suggestion? Although it may cost $, a jeweler can change that enhancer clasp for you.

Good morning, @Shanus. Others have already made comments about the new, smaller enhancer clasps, so any comment I would make would just be redundant. I am sure the company is already aware of the issue. It is up to them to give the customer what they want, and I am sure it boils down to it being a cost issue. I do have more delicate chains, so I am fortunate in that regard.

I wouldn't be able to change the clasp to a larger clasp through a jeweler, though, as Judith "Ripkarized" all of her enhancer bales, with either diamonique details or bergĂ©, or some other textured and carved detail that no jeweler, without the help of Judith's former manufacturing team would be able to replicate. Additionally, rhodium plating would have to be added to the new, larger bale.  I don't think it would be possible for the average jeweler to accomplish changing out the  bale in a way that would be true to the design of the enhancer, or to Judith's incredible artistry. There was nothing simple or generic about Judith's attention to the details of her pieces, up to and including her enhancer bales.
