Yup, CP has been using brass for many years.  I believe she said the brass was coated on this bracelet so it wouldn't tarnish.  The cuff is a beauty, I say, go for it!

My experience has been that the AW multi-metal pieces do indeed tarnish.  A silver polishing cloth doesn't cut it; you have to use a general metal polish.  But they do polish up beautifully.

The CP pieces from 20 years ago with brass did indeed tarnish, very annoying.  But, I have some recent leather necklaces with a sterling ring and brass toggle that have not tarnished at all.  I suspect that CP listened to customer complaints about the brass tarnishing and got better with coating the brass.  I might hesitate to purchase a ring with brass just because rings get so much more abuse than a necklace or bracelet.  I still think the cuff in question is gorgeous but then I like the swirly design and big presence.

I use Wright's Silver Cream to polish my sterling silver, it's gentle and does a great job.  Got it at the grocery store.

I have the 3 piece ring set and one of the pieces was brass, the coating did peel off but it could have been me. Maybe I  forgot to take it off while cleaning? Anyway the coating peeled off.  I did get rid of it so I can't go back and look at it.  The silver pieces still look good. The color of the brass was very pretty.  This was years ago.

IIRC Jayne Brown still wears a brass/sterling ring by CP and it's as lovely as the first time she wore it on air. I believe she wears it all of the time.

Perhaps body chemistry affected the coating on yours? IDK, but it's possible.

Yes it is possible, I have certain lines that the gold will wear right off the shank of the ring I am talking record time lol.  The first time I wear it,  but the top that does not touch my skin is perfect.  I rarely buy gold plated for that reason.

On bracelets especially I would rather not have it plated but would like to have it made out of solid metal even if it's brass, bronze or copper. You can polish off tarnish but you can't do anything to plating that has worn or chipped off.
