I agree. It is Judith Ripka Day. I know there are a lot of people who really like her and Barbara Bixby. They just don't do anything for me. I miss RLM back when he was the premiere designer. I would like to have seen some Carolyn Pollack, and I know she has a TSV sometime this month. These days I enjoy more the Israeli jewelry lines. Some very pretty things are to be found there, although I had to waitlist the heart earrings.

Overpriced, underweight, predictable, and utterly unremarkable -- but Ms. Ripka has a loyal customer base who (so far) haven't been discouraged by the ever-rising prices, which are now absolutely ridiculous for the sterling/diamonique/faux stone pieces she is churning out for QVC by the thousands. I keep thinking JR and the Q are going to overplay their hand and hit the wall, but the "Ripkanistas" keep on buying.......so far. QVC is devoting its programming to what makes money for them. Kinda an interesting phenomenon to watch, although I do NOT plan to watch those endless hours of JR programming.

Hey. I'm glad it isn't my money.

February 21st. I pre-ordered her TSV cuff in the turquoise color and it is beautiful. It's so well-made and flattering that it is definitely a cuff I want in each color. Choices are turquoise, lapis or mother of pearl.

I can't stand Judith's smug ""lady of the manor"" attitude. I feel sorry for Hagit having to come all the way from Israel for 2 hours in the middle of the night. I doubt that's an easy trip.

They definitely didn't spread the wealth around.

Boy she sure is smug right now, with Antonnella carrying on so!

at least it isn't electronics....usually that is all they do on Sunday.....the last JR piece I ordered was so low quality that I took one look at it out of the package and put it right back in to return....am not even tempted by her pieces since she has clearly outsourced the manufacturing to China or parts unknown.....yet the prices keep going up, up, up.

She's just odd. Like she's sitting on that TV waiting for someone to call and tell her how amazing she is and then she laughs and says the same thing to every caller. ""I think you're gonna love it. Let me know what you think when you get it."" Like she's reading a script.

Judith Ripka is to Designer Silver Day what Susan Graver is to Fashion Day. They are both on all day and all night with the same old, same old.
