Why would Pandora be "dated?" If you are slavishly following trends, maybe. What if your bracelet holds special meaning? It's a charm bracelet, after all. If you love it, wear it!

I always thought they were juvenile and rather cheap looking and never had the desire to own one.

I never cared for the bracelets, but I have a couple of pairs of earrings that hold Pandora beads/charms. One is a hoop design, the other a dangle. I like being able to make my interchangeable earrings with either Pandora charms, or similar beautiful beads from the craft store.

Love my Pandora bracelet. I used to wear it every day, but I changed jobs it it is no longer practical to wear at work. I wear it on the weekends now.

Re: Is Pandora out of style and dated?

I do not have Pandora rather a number of Troll bracelets in different color schemes. My husband purchased my first one as a souvenir from a trip to Denmark. Since then our Grands have given me many beads. I go through phases of wearing them or resting them in my jewelry armoire. .

As for looking cheap or tacky, to each his/her own. They are far from cheap when you consider the cost of each bead, bracelet, and clasp. I've seen some that I've thought to be a bit tacky and others that were lovely.

Tacky is subjective. I do not think it's particularly attractive to wear an armful of mismatched bracelets, but it does seem to be the trend.

Re: Is Pandora out of style and dated?

I love my Pandora bracelet, and I wear it every day. I got it about 4 years ago while on an anniversary trip. I did not really plan on adding to it. First purchase was the bracelet, two pretty clips, and one heart bead. But, over the years I have added special beads which we usually pick up while vacationing.

Each bracelet is a personal statement. Some have lots of sparkly color, some have glass beads, some have dangles, some have only silver, some have gold and silver. Some are only gold.

My bracelet is mostly silver with some silver & gold charms. Some black & white, and a tiny bit of pink. I do not have any glass beads. Some of my charms are now discontinued. I have some limited edition charms. My bracelet is very comfortable and easy to wear. I have two small size dangle charms, a tiny heart and a tiny dangle Bible.

In my mind, my bracelet is something I love, and I will continue to wear it. I don't know if it is "in style" or not. That does not matter to me. Some weeks ago I recorded the Pandora sponsored ice skating show and enjoyed seeing the ads, lol. I enjoy seeing the new designs.

Re: Is Pandora out of style and dated?

I just ordered a Trollbead bracelet with a couple charms and bought an extra set with other beads/charms. Looking forward to getting them. I have never been a fan of Pandora or even Trollbeads, but this set intrigued me and so I decided to give it shot.

Re: Is Pandora out of style and dated?

Friends in Italy gave me a Troll bracelet. All the charms are representative of Italy. I see Troll bracelets in a lot of better jewelry stores in Italy. I see a lot of younger Italian women wearing Troll bracelets. I do not think I've ever seen Pandora bracelets there.
