That bracelet is gorgeous in the tri color.  I am trying to be strong.  The ODO price is really good.

I have a couple of these bracelets, this one and another one, seems like a wheat design?  I can't remember.  The gold is beautiful but honestly I don't think you get a lot of "look" for the money because they are so flat.  They don't have the look for what they cost to me.

I wanted to throw this in because I never thought of that before I bought one and was gifted another.    Some people might want to think about that aspect of the design.   They aren't the things I wear often.

This bracelet in tri-color is stunning and cheaper than the TSV. I wonder what the gram weight is.

Re: Imperial gold

[ Edited ]

I liked that other Imperial gold bracelet.  I think it was the mirror bar for 17grams.  Gorgeous.  Looked exactly like 18K.  It also had great reviews.  The necklace version was a whopping 40 grams.

Found the item number

J60326

I found the other imperial gold bracelet tri color kind of blah. That one is 13 grams.  It just looked like an average bracelet compared to that amazing mirror bar. ;

EDIT:  Heck with this.  I just ordered  J60326  I actually caved ad purchased 14K!  All the 18K offering was such a disappointment as they were all hollow with silicon in it.

@Sooner  Yes, I hear you.  I have several IG gold bracelets.......mostly from many years ago.  At the time I wore them a lot, but once I got more into gemstones, I pretty much stopped wearing them because they don't stack well with other bracelets.  Like you say, they are really flat.  Another issue I used to have is with those little bar tips catching on my sleeves and ripping the threads on them.

Just a heads up... 18k gold Arte d Oro does not have silicone and there are 124 pieces of it being offered today.

LOL....yeah I did look around.  You're so right.  But I already ordered it.  I think I'm going to like it.  The reviews said it looks exactly like 18K.  Not all 14K does, but this one looks cool.    I'm at work too.  Shame on me for spying on the gold show!

Enjoy it @songbird and wear it in good health!

Just an aside... I worked for Tiffany's on 5th for quite a few years in a managerial position. Many of our offerings were set in 14k gold. Often a gold bangle eg. will endure a lot of abuse from banging it on surfaces, so sometimes we encouraged our customers to purchase 14k gold since it is quite a bit stronger. Same with a diamond tennis bracelet. I made the mistake of purchasing one in 18k gold and I was constantly having diamonds replaced due to loss.

Yep, I hear you!  But I love 18K.  I'm Italian born and raised and to me it's real gold.  My all 18K pieces are big and solid.  Biggest I have is a 42gram Omega.  I've had it for years.  It's sits in the bank now.  Too afraid to wear it since gold became so costly. My wedding set is in Platinum, which I love as much as 18K.  I have mixed feelings about 14K.  Just not quite enough gold.....LOL.  Don't mind me.  It's just the Italian....
