Australian Opal Ring

I have been looking and looking, probably not a good time to look, pickings are slim.

 I would buy a 1 to 1 1/2  carat yellow diamond solitaire ring.  Not sure if I would want yellow gold or a white metal.

I would like to see moissanite, I have never seen it other than in pictures.  If it looked good I would like to get a 3.5 to 4 carat elongated radiant cut ring with either the tapering baguettes or the underneath halo.  When I got married I don't think I was aware of this cut, I still love and would choose my rings but would buy this type for a change if it looked good.

4 ctw diamond stud earrings, martini set in platinum with screw backs. I have 2 ctw studs that are martini set in white gold with screw backs, and while they're really good quality, you can barely see them. It's the only white metal that I wear, but for diamond studs it's just fine. You can't really see the metal.
