I am retired and don't wear my jewelry as much as I used to and have alot of Judith Ripka. I have some American West and some QVC silver pieces. This year I wanted some studs and some gold as there are occasions when I wish I had some casual fun pieces.

Just found some interesting Susan Shaw pieces in a boutique and got some earrings, blue and white little ginger jars caged in gold plate. Just love them.

On one of the game shows, saw an oval-shaped ornate ruby ring surrounded by diamonds. Oooo, love to have that one!

Every year I ask myself the same question!

Usually I get a new piece of jewelry for my birthday and for the holidays (I pick out, DH gifts to me).

Since my preference is only to wear gold, I like to search out a lot of different jewelry pieces and prices. I wait for the best sales!

For my birthday this year I chose the Effy gold diamond pendant from Macy's. It really sparkles and has a great design.
