Tiffany &Company

14 ct Green Quartz, Sterling Silver & Rose Gold(not much)

Of course, at $1500, it's a reminder why, I really don't shop there🥴

I've never thought of green quartz, as being particularly expensive, although, I realize that large of a carat weight, would be rare.

Is a good part of the price the Tiffany name, or is $1500 reasonable?

Who would like to contribute to the collection I'm taking up?

If you want it go for it! Too bad Tiffanys doesn't take easy pay eh? It's a lovely ring. Years ago DH got me a pen from Tiffanys like the one Jackie O had (saw it in the auction book of her items) and I treasure that baby and enjoy it every single time I take it out of my wallet. Makes writing fun. Life is short...enjoy that beautiful ring if you REALLY want it and can affort it with no problems.

@SuhseK  I love the color of that stone.  Very pretty.  You know, I have a few of these in my gift closet, so I can just send you one.  😄

Sorry @SuhseK  I just bought a few for my gift closet Smiley Very Happy  I want it too, really unusual but fun and I love the cut. No clue as to it's value but Tiffany doesn't sell junk and those blue boxes are expensive. I bet it ships for free.

I was trying to post a picture of the necklace I have from Tiffany. I have a new IPad and it doesn't work like my old one.31AE8E93-7A64-4514-97D9-577813BF1040.jpeg

Mostly paying for the name and the uptown fancy stores, etc.

Quartz is not expensive at all found here in North America

Amethyst is heat treated to be purple

Green is heat treated to be green

citrine is heat treated to be yellow

Topaz, too, I think is heat treated to be light blue

all come from the colorless quartz stone

The band is silver will have to be polished when it tarnishes unless it's rhodium plated.

I'd invest in a gold piece of jewelry has more resale value down the road.
