I need help finding a very nice, inexpensive gold chain

Just recently (within the last 2 months) I have had to have my wedding set, a ring I had made and my Moms wedding set all resized. The only ring I couldn't have resized was a ring (plain gold band-about a size 3) that my Mom received from her Mom & Dad when she had her first communion.

The jewelers won't resize it because it is so small and frail.

What I was thinking about doing was to put a bail (sp) on it and put it on a necklace or if any of you had other ideas, I would like to know them.

I would really like some suggestions as to some nice, inexpensive gold (10K-yellow) chains.

I have looked online but I cannot tell how thick they are or if they are good quality.

Any help, as always, is greatly appreciated.
