I like some Affinity's jewelry, but why don't they have any type of warranty?

I bought a small diamond ring for one of my stepdaughters and a diamond fell out in only a couple months of wearing. But when I discovered that Affinity does not have any type of warranty to cover their diamonds or jewelry, I decided that I will never purchase this line again. I expect when it comes to diamonds they should be backing them up with some type of coverage. Diamonds aren't cheap, not even in silver these days.
