I went to Kay Jewelers because they do a "lifetime battery'.

I love Judith Ripka watches and I wear a sterling oval face with Diamonique around the white face.

The manager had a fit over my watch!

Do people notice your Ripka watches?

No, my Ripkas are the cheaper of my watch collection, kinda cute but tinny feeling and certainly not sterling.  They look costumey.

@ECBG. Her watches are quite nice.  So happy you were able to get a lifetime battery.  I personally don't own any of her watches.  I do have one of Joan's, a few Robert Elazondo, and 2 from the JBK collection.  I'll need to remember about the lifetime battery.

You said the manager "had a fit" ... so was the battery difficult to install?  How much did they charge?

I was just looking at the Ripka watches here, and there were only 9 of them.  Only nine styles!

Does anyone know if they are phasing Judith Ripka jewely out?

At Kay Jewelry store a lifetime battery was $24.99 plus tax.

If you don,t have a Kay Jewelers, you can try Batteries + Bulbs for a lifetime battery.

I had one installed about 3 years ago but can't remember the exact price....close to $20 maybe back then.

@maximillian .  Usually a battery costs about $10.  I never heard of a "lifetime" battery.  Maybe they're planning on people not living too long.
