Unfortunately she didn't. I kept in contact with the 2 JR girls from the boutique for a few months after the robbery and JR Neimans visit. They said she never stopped in or anything. Kind of sad. I think the writing must have been on the wall for them. The manager quit and moved around the corner to manage another high end boutique within a few weeks.

I am disappointed to hear that JR did not go see the victims of the robbery. If an employee of mine were robbed and beaten, I would certainly pay them a personal visit and pay for any counseling or medical treatment needed. You never know what people are made of until put to the test. Since I don't know her personally, I will not judge her, but if this is true, it is not a good reflection on her character.

the authorized independent jeweler near me that has her items has only ONE piece.....it is a clip on earring for 8300 done with diamonds and 18k.

The tried and true QVC Ripkanistas will buy most of the new expensive pieces. If you look on the cuff bracelet reviews, the Ripkanistas buy most of them and sometimes two of the same thing. This is very good news for Judy, as her most loyal followers are still buying without regard for price. It's a win win for both shopper and vendor.

Scotnovel, I don't know if any of these statements are true. I was just stating what I would do if such an incident occurred in one of my stores. I'm sure any medical needs were paid for, but as for the rest, I have no idea. Not paying them a personal visit would be unacceptable for me. I can not imagine any owner not doing so. 5pugmom appears to have some inside information, so I am taking her word for it.

When I was at Foxwoods Hotel and Casino in Connecticut last August I noticed that one of the large jewelry stores has a whole Ripka section. Needless to say I browsed but didn't find anything to buy. As it was my birthday, the next day I went to Clinton Corners outlet stores and there I found a gorgeous Ippolita mother of pearl and gold chain at the Saks Off Fifth store. I often mix Ripka, Yurman and Ippolita silver pieces together.

It looks as though in some areas sells have declined and Judith opted to have more stores internationally. She is going were the money is.

We have a Ripka store in Orlando on I-drive, that's International Dr. to all the tourists. They come mainly from S. America and love to spend their money at the theme parks and all the high end stores like JR's! Every time I have been there her store is busy.
