How long are these earrings?  I have never seen these before.  The sleeping beauty is perfect and the style striking.

Great, thanks Ezzy!  I figured I'd just post one good collage thread.  These are a few pieces from my GIA days.  I was studying for my gemological degree and this started as a gem collecting hobby when I was going to school, which quickly transformed into jewelry making and estate hunting.  I realized I'd rather wear the things rather than stare at them in boxes!  It was fun while it lasted, but I'm done!!  (Not great pix, sorry... mostly taken with my old cell.)

Burma ruby (custom)

ETA: Slighty less crappy pic...

Rubellite tourmaline (purchased)

Spessartite garnet (custom)

Yellow sapphire (purchased)

ETA:  Way less crappy pic...

Colombian emerald (estate)... I just cannot get a decent photo of this thing with my cell, so here's my jeweler's pic.  Mine always make the stone look rather cloudy.  It's difficult to photograph emeralds in general due to their characteristic "jardin."  Little bit of trivia there for ya!

Ceylon sapphire (estate)

Tanzanite (custom)

Uruguayan amethyst (custom)

Mahenge spinel (custom)

Padparadscha sapphire (orangey-pink) which I never got around to setting... a.k.a... I ran outta $$$.  Confused Face  Maybe some day!

AliJoi5  Thank you for posting this.  It so great to see such a fantasitc aray of exotics all in one place.   The settings really show off your gemstones.

Hi Blingqueen, hope you are doing well. Happy new year to you and your family. I see you have been busy getting your bling ! I like your MV ring. I wish he would just do all sterling/palladium without the two tone. I bought his sleeping beauty tennis necklace last year and it is one of my favs.

@anishaThank you so much Anisha.  I wish you and your family a happy healthy New Year too.  Let's hope this year will be the best yet.

I have a very large collection of Michael's rings and I have to say he's lightened up on his silver content.  The rings I purchased in earlier times were much heavier in weight then what they are now.  They're still gorgeous rings and I haven't had any problems with them, I just wish they were a bit more weighty.  I do agree with you about the two tone.  I do like them, but an all over silver ring with his gemstones would look even nicer.  When it comes to Michael I just can't say no, lol.

I do have a question for you since you purchase a lot of Judith's jewelry.  She's another designer I have a lot of rings from.  I noticed on her page on the Q's site, there's a pink synthetic heart shape stone ring that's listed as "new."  I think there's also a yellow choice too.  Have these rings been presented yet?  I noticed there's only sizes 6,7, and 8 listed.  I so want these rings.  Even though the gemstones are synthetic made, I still want them.  Those rings are gorgeous.  I sure hope I didn't miss out on them, but I did check on her last visit under "items recently aired," and these rings weren't presented.  There's no waitlist for higher sizes.  I'm hoping she brings them back in all sizes.  If you know anything about these rings, I'd sure like to know if they're going to be back in the sizes and being presented on the Q.  Thanks so much.  Enjoy the weekend and keep looking fabulous in those gorgeous cuffs you purchased.

I was glad to see you joined the group BlingQueen22 and I hope you add some more of your large collection to the thread.

Aww thanks so much @BlingQueen022!!  It also has a "secret diamond" on each side of the gallery, which I thought was a sweet touch.  Unfortunately though, I have bad memories associated with this ring, which is probably why it'll be my last custom piece.  The person who created the diamond semi-mount for me had a tool slip while closing a prong, and scratched the entire length of the morganite's table facet.  Oh man, I was sick over it.  Luckily I was able to have it buffed out by a lapidary (not easy to find, btw!).  But this is precisely why I had to stop collecting this type of stuff.  There was always something.  And for someone as a.n.a.l. as I am, it became a huge headache.  It's supposed to be fun!  Woman Frustrated  So that's why I find collecting sterling to be much more agreeable with my OCD (and pocketbook) these days.  lol

Thank goodness you were able to get that scratch buffed out.  I would have fainted dead away if I saw that.  People do make mistakes, but wowza, that was a doozy!!   Your photos of your rings takes my breath away.  What gorgeous pieces.  I love your collection.  Just beautiful jewelry.  I'm really enjoying this thread.  I love seeing everybody's jewelry pieces.  Wishing you many more healhty and happy years wearing those precious items.

I bet he thought you would sue him for the damage, It's not like he could just go out and buy another to replace it for you.

AliJoi5, that sapphire ring is beautiful. I had seen something like this in the EFFY collection many years ago on Shopnbc. I am so enjoying this thread -looking at the gorgeous jewelry . It is also helping to remind me of pieces that I have and should start wearing more often.

Lol Anisha, I remember this ring too!!!

Very pretty, Ali! I love rainbow too, I will take a pic of mine later.

Ezzy, the instigator, hasn't posted us any pictures!!! 😱

Hey, I am just catching up reading all the posts now.  It's great to see how this thread is growing with beautiful gemstones.  I will be free Monday to post a few photos, although I don't know exactly what to post.

Thank you @AliJoi5 I love it too! The center stone is an elongated cushion cut with 100 facets, so much sparkle! I was playing with my camera and took this shot this afternoon, I nicknamed my set Aurora Borealis and in this pic you can see why! ring bling.jpg
