6 total, 3 in each ear.  I wear 3 white gold hoops in each ear, graduating from the smallest to the largest.  I never change them, even though I must have hundreds of earrings that I have purchased over the years.  This has become my signature look apparently, since a friend was trying to describe who I was to another person in our community and she said "the woman with the 3 hoops in her ears" and she knew it was me.  She couldn't describe me by hair color as grey, since I live in a retirement community and there is a lot of grey hair here!!!!!

I had 3 in each ear lobe.  I can't get an earring through one of them, so I wear 5 earrings.  I'd like to get that 6th earring through someday.

Two in each ear.  Got the first piercings by my family dr when I was about 13 in the mid 60s; second one mid 70s in my 20s my SIL did them.  I got third ones at Piercing Pagoda in the mall when I was 40 but didn't like the placement so I let them close.  I wear earrings at least once a week to ensure they don't close up.  I'd like to get another piercing in one ear lobe and the cartilage on the other ear.

Both ears are double pierced and I wear earrings everyday.  I have a collection of small studs that I wear in the top holes.

One in each ear. I did not get my ears pierced until I was around 24.  (I could not wear jewelry in grade school,or high school.)  I wear earrings every day.

I have four. Two in each ear. My ears have been pierced since I was a baby(about 2 months old. Customary at the time in Puerto Rico) After watching Ryan's Hope in the late 70's and seeing Jill Coleridge's(Nancy Addison) second ear piercing in her left ear, and liking it, I pierced both my ears with a second hole. I only wear three earrings. One hugger hoop in each ear(bottom)and one very tiny hugger hoop in the left ear. And an ear clip on the left ear!

Two in each ear. First was also at the doctors office when I was a teenager. Got the second in my 20s when I got diamond studs. Diamond studs stay in the top holes and I change the earrings in the bottom holes daily depending on my outfit.
