When I was married my husband wanted to purchase a yellow diamond with white diamonds on each side. It was costly and frankly I was afraid to wear it so I said no. I love yellow diamonds but to be honest with you resale value is horrible unless you have large carat diamonds. I have diamond stud earrings that total a carat and can't sell them and there value is over $5,000 which means nothing. I need to start wearing them again. I think as I aged, diamonds, etc. are not important to me. The problem with rings or bracelets with a bunch of tiny diamonds I personally would not purchase as times goes by, you can lose the stones.
