Has anyone else has this happen?

I placed an order from the other shopping network and my item was put on wait list, no problem. Foour days later my sister decids she wants the same item, wait list for her too. Today I get a phone call from her that hers is being shipped. When I checked on mine still on wait list. I called cs and also spoke with a manager he didn't know why my order fell thru the cracks. I also thought wait lsit orders went by who placed order first. Anyone else have this happen to them?
