I never bought one, but I have a few of her small heart shaped trinket boxes for jewelry - lined in the black felt-like material...it lets whatever is in it tarnish anyway; doesn't mean I don't like them or use them, I do

I use them for things other than jewels.

I have the southwestern style trunk jewelry box that I love and it’s still going strong too. It’s full of mostly sterling pieces.

@tucsongal It's to keep sterling jewelry from tarnishing.

You may clean gold to get off oils from wearing. but gold doesn't tarnish.

I know, I was just commenting that my jewelry is all sterling so it’s perfect for me 🙂. Do you remember the southwestern trunk?

@ECBG I don’t remember what it was officially called but it’s an LG silver safekeeper and I’ve had it for many years.

I purchased one of the Southwest Trunk Silver Safekeepers over 14 years ago. The gluing did not hold up and it fell apart, sides, mirror, everything. H82577

I have a couple of her smaller table top jewelry boxes and so far, so good.
