Actually, QVC dropped Tacori as is the case with all the designers who are no longer a part of the lineup.

How do you know this?

Actually, this would be my guess too, given the serious paring down QVC has been doing with brands and vendors in recent years. I guess they now have Judith doing all the designer DMQ they need..., which is far more than I need.

Tacori was my favorite by far of any jewelry on QVC; I probably bought 2 dozen pieces for my three daughters and myself and we all wear them often. They all look just like the day we got them.... The only other jewelry I have ever cared for was the sterling pieces that did not have a designer name on them;much more sterling and better made than the ""designer"" lines they now have.

Because the quality of Diamonique seems to have really gone downhill I am sure Tacori would not want to put their name on it now. Don't blame them one bit.

One has pretty clearly dropped the other. Who knows who did the dropping...

Let’s just be friends.

It’s me, not you.

It’s you, not me…I mean it’s me, not you.

It’s not you, it’s me…well, okay, it is you.

A good friend works at QVC. All outside vendors are on contracts that Q can choose not to renew at their discretion.

I think QVC gets rid of whoever doesn't sell and make them money.

Oh, it's like any other contract negotiation. If the two parties can't come to mutually agreeable terms, no contract.

Yes, they are a business and all about generating profits for their stockholders.

Another point of view: is it possible that QVC requested price points from Tacori, that Tacori was. to comfortable with. I do believe that there are vendors from QVC that would not compromise their name and product to conform to what appears to be lower standards from QVC, Bradley Bayou refused to do " faux suede and lleathers", this is not what he is about, so as a consequence he is no longer there ( among others). I have three pairs of earrings from Tacori which are absolutely beautiful and pass for the real thing. Too bad for QVC

I think the recession did Tacori in at QVC. They had tons of product that did not sell and ended up on Overstock and other off-price outlets. God forbid they should ever offer us a decent sale price, it would tarnish QVC's upscale image. That's a joke.

QVC is in at least 100 million homes. A terrific marketing opportunity which makes their on air time very valuable. I am sure vendors have to reach certain sale points to continue. This is why vendors such as Joan Rivers, Ripka must be selling tons to stay on QVC. QVC is the gold standard for shopping networks.
