Jay's jewelry is not as fine in quality or design as Carolyn Pollack's but he does have a variety of interesting stones. Someone here referred to them as monuments to rocks, and that's about right. Much of his turquoise is not natural so buyer beware if that's important to you.

I bought the Kingsman Turquoise Sterling Silver Bib Necklace. Jay said that if he brought it back, which he won't be able to, it would likely be 5 to 10 times more expensive. I thought it was very nice looking. I received a 20% off coupon through email but unfortunately it expired and was only good for one day.

I have a lot of Sleeping Beauty Turquoise I bought from QVC and HSN at least 8 years ago. It is beautiful but it is all so perfect I'm afraid after I die my daughters will think it is fake.

It must be work a lot of money now as it is huge chunks of Turquoise. Beautiful color.

Some of Jay's pieces are OK. But many are heavy and overpriced. I've found a few sites on Ebay that sell very similar pieces. They are not sterling silver put sterling silver plate. They are priced less than $10. Quality is decent as these sellers have a 99% plus ratings.....

Jays company used to sell his work on eBay under the name Desert Rose. They may still do it. They have a store here in Albuquerque that is open periodically, not all the time. They do put things on "special" every week and you can get on their mailing list for that. Again look for the Desert Rose Trading Co. name.

I like his stories and personality but hate his jewelry...settings are cheap and stones poorly set...every piece I have purchased of JK, the stones fell out...on beaded necklaces, the beads often have dark marks where they touch each other. I love the variety of his stones he offers but finally stopped wasting my money on his jewelry. QVC has all around better quality jewelry than HSN. I find the clothing lines on HSN to be of poor quality compared to QVC as well. Basically, I have stopped watching HSN; tired of Adrienne, Serious Skin Care, Lessman, Little and Gilman jeans

I have some of his stuff from years ago but now it bothers me that his turquoise is compressed - stabilized I don't mind but compressed is junk
