Groupon Jewelry Purchase

Okay so yes I probably already knew what the outcome of this purchase was going to be.

A couple weeks ago, I rec'd an e-mail from Groupon about a deal to purchase a pair of white topaz stud earrings for the low price of $9.99. The value was supposedly $99.99. I believe these were 2 carats set in sterling silver. I figured for 10 bucks, what the heck.

I went to order and ended up with a coupon so I ended up getting these earrings for $4.95. I had my doubts but now the deal was impossible to pass up, right?

I rec'd the earrings and OMG they are laughable. I didn't even need to take them out of the plastic baggy they were in to see the flaws. One earring is nearly yellow in color and the other earrings has the biggest inclusion I have ever seen.

I laughed at myself for having even the tiniest shred of hope over these and tossed them right into the trash. {#emotions_dlg.blushing}
