Yay! Looks like JTV is bringing some class to the network with former QVC'er Allyson Spellman. She is definitely a welcome addition and of course my favorite out of the new hosts. One is super awkward and the other is about 12 lol and really unrelatable. I was losing hopes and then caught Allyson's first solo show. There is hope! I am liking the fresh energy and hope they keep promoting her. I also like Melissa and most the time Kristen when she stops for a breath. Melissa is a great host. Maybe just maybe I can start watching again.

Re: Great new JTV Host

[ Edited ]

@heatherhayhey, She is a breath of fresh air.  I think the additions for new faces is wonderful.  I like the pace and volume of her speaking voice.  I know I'll enjoy her shows.  I saw her first solo show today too. She said she was a former host on a home shopping network, so I think that does help.

oh, and Sharon is back tonight at 6 p.m eastern time according to the schedule.

I don't think I'd want to be a host on JTV.  It seems like many come and go from this station in short order.

Nikki Stanzione didn't seem to be with them very long and now she's a host on Shop LC.

Don't get too attached to her.  When it comes to hosts, JTV is a revolving door.  Now  they are here...now they are gone.  It seems like if a host is too good, they don't last long.

She's such a good host, I was happy to see her join ShopLC.  Hosts who aren't  from the south and have some sophistication don't last there.  QVC's two new gem experts and the DMQ presenter all came from JTV, they were among the best and most knowledgeable hosts JTV had....and suddenly they were gone.

My guess is that the old-timers at JTV don't go out of their way to be warm and nuturing to the newcomers.

Oh no! Well she is certainly non-Southern and sophisticated so we will see how it goes. That's a shame as JTV has potential but they have to be willing to move with the times. Thanks for all the input.

I don’t even remember her on QVC.

Wow, I did not know she came from the Q, but I do not like her at all.  Her voice and fakey appearance puts me off.

All of the hosts seem to use really hard sell sales tactics at JTV, which wears me out.  I do like watching them when I need a jewelry fix, though.

Never heard of Allyson from the Q.
